Women's Magnificat Prayer Meal
Magnificat Prayer Meal with speaker Sarina Stokes
The morning includes breakfast and praise and worship as well as Stokes’ testimony.
Magnificat is a ministry to Catholic women, a private association of the faithful within the Catholic Church under the jurisdiction of the Lincoln Diocese. Women of other Christian faiths are invited to attend the prayer meals.
The apostolate takes its name and inspiration from Luke 1:46, the opening line of Mary’s joyful Magnificat: “My soul magnifies the Lord.” By following the examples set by the Blessed Mother and her relative Saint Elizabeth, this woman-to-woman ministry encourages a lively, active faith in the Lord, along with a love for Mary and the Church.

Beauty of Our Stories
The bethany brunches are inspired by Jesus’ time at Bethany with his friends before he went into Jerusalem. While he was there he was received by a loving community of friendship, experienced a space of rest and hospitality, and most importantly, time with His Father in prayer.
Bethany Brunches mission is to do just that: provide a space of loving frinedship, rest and warm hospitality, and most important, time with God.
Brunches are hosted at different locations but all starting at 10:30am and end at 12:30pm

4-Day Ignatian Directed Retreat
What is the Silent Directed Ignatian Retreat for Men or Women?
Ignatian Retreats, based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, are also known as directed retreats. The heart of the Ignatian Retreat involves spending four or five prayer periods each day in meditation on scripture. Thus the real director of an Ignatian Retreat is the Holy Spirit.
The retreat is marked by a complete silence, as there are no common prayers or devotions outside of Mass and Exposition, and no social time as even the meals are taken in silence to continue the reflection and prayerful atmosphere. Retreatants journal about each of their prayer times and the movements that occurred there, so that when they meet with the director, they can be given guidance and appropriate scripture passages for their meditation. It is suggested to read Meditation and Contemplation by Father Timothy Gallagher, OMV to learn more on the Ignatian methods of meditating on Scripture.
The Silent Directed Ignatian Retreat will begin with a 7 PM meeting and then Holy Hour on opening night, check-in from 6-7 PM. You will sign-up for daily individual meetings with your retreat director. The retreat ends with a shared lunch on the final day of the retreat.

“ The Covenant School of Spiritual Direction is designed to form men and women who can offer spiritual accompaniment to others on their journey to holiness. It provides instruction and skills development in the practical elements of spiritual direction, and fosters attentiveness to the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Students will be exposed to various streams of Catholic Spirituality, particularly from Ignatian and Carmelite sources. In the course of their formation, students will experience God's transformative power as they pray with Scripture and the writings of the saints, and share their experiences, insights and graces. As their intimacy with God grows through these prayer experiences, students become more spiritually sensitive listeners. “
